Omar's Shoes

This post from The Sartorialist has totally inspired me!  I think Omar would look so good in these shoes!  I think if I just buy them, he'll like them, but he would never pick them out for himself.  We have been working on his fashion lately....

 

I think I might get myself a pair in red while I'm at it!  (Remember?!)

JP Morgan Chase Corporate Challenge

Last night me and a handful of my cow-workers ran the 3.5 miles that is the JP Morgan Chase Corporate Challenge!  I finished in 37:02 which got me in place #1254 of 2,548 women!  I was very pleased with my time...I was aiming for a 10 minute mile, and I was just almost there!

I found two more examples of awesome charcoal paint! I hadn't thought about using it in the bedroom, but these pictures might have convinced me (granted, they are children's rooms).

Last weekend in July

We had one busy last weekend of July!  The weekend was packed full of fun adventures with the Trumbly Family (in from San Diego) and Hathcock Family.  We hit up Fisherman's Wharf, happy hour sushi at Umami, West Coast Country Music Festival, Land's End, and the carousel in Golden Gate Park.  Here are a few of my favorite pictures of our adventures!

I was going through old photos on my computer this morning when I came across these.  Here's a little trip down memory lane.  These were taken approximately 4 years ago, right before and after I moved to San Francisco.  I can' believe how short and white my hair was!

Nawlins

I'm back from New Orleans!  It was such an awesome trip!  I think I probably gained several pounds with all the eating and daiquiris!  It was so fun taking pictures somewhere new, so please bear with me!  I have a lot!  These are from all our daytime adventures.  As soon as my sisters share their photos, I'm share a few of what we did at night and hopefully they have a few group shots too!
