2.  waking up to the barking of sea lions (happened this morning)

3.  catching up with college friends - Hi, Kate!

4.  homemade pumpkin treats at work (though very bad for my diet)

5.  weekends when Omar doesn't have to work
6.  wishing on fallen eye lashes
7.  feeling his scruff on my cheek
8.  memories of grandma and grandpa
9.  Friday paydays
10.  anticipation of Christmas

10 things that make very, very happy---

1.  grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup (dinner tonight!)

2.  clean hair

3.  clean sheets

4.  clean pj's

5.  clean hair, clean sheets, and clean pj's all in the same night

6.  glee

7.  viewing the san francisco skyline from alcatraz

8.  "mental health" days - not that I ever take them!

9.  shopping with my mom and sisters
10.  anthropologie sales and scoring big

Two things that do NOT make me happy:  

1.  M + D going home.  stay in san francisco, pretty please!  bright side:  we had an awesome visit and we meet again in nyc on christmas day.
2.  R + D moving out of the neighborhood.  bright side:  they have room for morgan now, and we have friends to visit in burlingame.

Happy List #2

Like last week, I want to start my Monday off with a happy list!

1.  Receiving phone calls at work from my sisters in the middle of the day

2.  Parents coming to town this week
3.  the smell of apple cider and mulling spices - it's that time of the year again

4.  Gypsy's unconditional love
5.  a warm sweater, leggings, and Uggs
6.  roasting hot dogs and marshmallows
7.  people standing on their roofs in SF - it's just like Mary Poppins
8. christmas music (no, it's not too early)
9.  receiving an unexpected card or letter in the mail
10.  no more thank you notes to be written

Happy Monday!  I hope everyone had a great weekend - I did!  (I'll do a recap of the weekend later today.)  Since its Monday and its kind of hard to get back into work, I wanted to start the week with 10 things that make me very happy!

1.  Using the heater for the 1st time since last winter (last night!)
2.  Finding US Weekly in my mailbox every Thursday
3.  yummy Kara's Cupcakes
4.  Christmas trees
5.  Visiting my nephews, Carson & Welsey (see their awesome Halloween picture from last year below)
6.  Halloween movies (How can you not get excited when you hear this music?  click here)
7.  Having my own blog!!
8.  Flapper dresses
9.  Fried Macaroni & Cheese Balls (ah la Cheesecake Factory)
10.  Successfully completing a session of Boot Camp!
